You'll work closely with the CFO and teams across the company to turn data into clear, actionable insights that support everyday decisions and long-term strategy. A big part of your role will be querying, cleaning, and transforming data using SQL to answer real business questions and help move the company forward.In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will need to be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, follow-up abilities, and effective verbal and written communication. Your ability to synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to assess areas of improvement, support recommendations for action, and define and implement routine reports will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities:Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plansCreate and maintain models to predict performance under various conditions and assess business decisionsAnalyze differences between actual results and budgets/forecasts, explaining key drivers and trendsConduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, operational changes, and executive requestsTranslate complex data into clear insights, summaries, and recommendations for non-technical stakeholdersEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial and operational reportingPartner closely with the CFO and other members of the leadership team to support data-driven decision-making across the businessBuild and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that provide visibility into company performance for leadership and functional teamsIdentify gaps in data or reporting and proactively work with stakeholders to improve data quality, instrumentation, and processesTurn messy or incomplete data into usable insightsSupport the preparation of leadership-level reporting and presentations, including quarterly board meetingsQualifications:3 years of experience in FP&AProficiency in Excel and financial modeling2 years of hands-on work experience with SQL2 years experience with a data visualization tool, preferably DOMOBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a highly quantitative fieldExperience working in a startup environmentExcellent analytics and data interpretation skills Ability to synthesize financial and operational data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendationsAn analyst with a strong voice for data-driven decision-makingSelf-motivated and experience working autonomously on financial projects from initial data collection to final business decision Naturally curious and highly motivated to jump in, analyze, experiment, and learnHigh degree of attention to detail and diligence in verifying the accuracy & completeness of workWhy Rentable:100% remote workplaceCompetitive Compensation Flexible Vacation Policy Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance100% paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance Program401k ProgramNo A**hole policyIf you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation in the application or recruiting process, please contact your recruiter.
