Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication techniques.
- Use MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels and structural components.
- Conduct auto painting, sanding, and automotive refinishing using airless paint spraying and sanding tools to achieve a flawless finish.
- Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and other components with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify damage, assess repair needs, and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and auto parts installation while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician
- Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive painting tools.
- Experience with auto estimating, auto glass replacement, and automotive parts installation is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
