Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to timely deliveries and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling of items.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local streets efficiently.
- Experience in customer service roles, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Previous experience with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods.
- Ability to operate equipment safely.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; commercial driving experience is a plus.
