Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. The Delivery Driver will operate a box truck or van, navigate routes efficiently, and maintain the vehicle in good working condition.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or van to deliver products to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience operating box trucks or vans is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and move items safely.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $74,000.00 per year
