Delivery Driver

Job Summary
The Rent-to-Own Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering, setting up, servicing, and retrieving rental merchandise such as furniture, appliances, electronics, and household items. This role combines driving responsibilities with customer service, account support, and basic product installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, deliver, and install rental merchandise at customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
• Demonstrate proper use and care of delivered products.
• Complete merchandise pickups and returns according to company policies.
• Inspect products for damage and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing merchandise.
• Collect customer payments when required and support account resolution efforts.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise (often up to 100 pounds with assistance).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in delivery, moving, warehouse, or customer service roles is preferred but not always required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy items.
• Ability to climb stairs and work in various weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of driving, standing, bending, and walking.

Skills

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
