Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will serve as the primary commercial execution arm of Rensa USA Inc. in the U.S. market, supporting the Beneficiary in converting the company's existing pipeline of U.S. customer relationships into contracted supply agreements and generating new leads across the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, semiconductor, healthcare, and food and beverage segments.
Detailed Job Duties
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Identify, research, and develop a pipeline of target accounts in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, healthcare, and food and beverage sectors. Use LinkedIn, ISPE member directories, SEMI industry databases, and trade show contacts to build a qualified list of procurement managers and engineering leads. Maintain a minimum pipeline of 40–60 active prospects at any time using the company's CRM system.
Direct Sales Outreach & Presentation: Conduct structured outreach to qualified prospects via phone, email, and in-person visits. Prepare and deliver customized presentations demonstrating Rensa USA Inc.'s ASME BPE and 3-A certified product capabilities, pricing advantages, and integrated manufacturing value proposition. Schedule and conduct a minimum of 6–10 new prospect meetings per week during ramp-up.
Distributor & OEM Relationship Development: Develop and manage commercial relationships with U.S. distributors of hygienic and high-purity stainless steel products, including SSI, Steel & O'Brien, and other regional distributors. Initiate discussions with Valex Corp. regarding formal fittings supply arrangements. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements under the guidance of the Head — U.S. Operations.
Trade Show & Conference Representation: Represent Rensa USA Inc. at INTERPHEX New York, ASME BPE Conference, and SEMI industry events. Man the company booth, conduct product demonstrations, collect leads, and follow up systematically on all contacts made at each event. Provide post-show pipeline reports to the Head — U.S. Operations.
Technical Qualification Support: Work with technical documentation provided by the Indian parent company to support customer product qualification requirements. Assist customers in understanding ASME BPE and 3-A certification credentials, dimensional standards, and surface finish specifications. Coordinate with the Indian parent company's technical team for customer-specific product queries.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain complete and accurate records of all prospect activities, opportunities, proposals, and account status in the company's CRM platform. Prepare weekly pipeline and activity reports for the Head — U.S. Operations, including projected close timelines and estimated deal values.
