What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Renown Health?
Position Purpose
This position performs a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room duties as well as other related tasks.
Nature and Scope
May be responsible for a combination of any of the following:
May be responsible for the assembly and serving of meals to patients. Required to assists other staff in the setup, preparation, and clean up for patient meal service including but not limited to floor stock, Dish room, Caf dining area and meal delivery. May function as a direct link between Nutrition Services and the patient. Maintain adequate supply of dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. Performs set-up and cleaning duties of all work areas. Keeps equipment, utensils, counters, refrigerators and storage areas clean and orderly. Duties may also include stocking, dish washing, pot washing, transporting food carts to the nursing floors as well as general cleaning and sanitation.May be required to work in all areas of department including patient food services and dish room.
This position does not provide direct patient care.
