We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented carpenter responsible for a variety of installations including but not limited to; doors and door hardware, framing, trim, cabinet installations, and hard surface flooring -including vinyl plank and tile. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from high end kitchen and bath remodels, to whole home renovations. The ability to represent the company in a professional and quality forward approach with your work and interactions with clients is a must.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Install interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively to complete projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1 year minimum paid experience in carpentry installations with a strong understanding of industry acceptable methods and practices.
- Ability to install from plans and technical drawings as well as written and verbal instruction accurately.
- Skilled in using a variety of installation tools- hand, power, safety along with measuring and leveling devices .
- Knowledge of various flooring installations including vinyl plank, tile and hardwood.
- Ability to install trim, cabinets, and doors in a quality manner.
- Understanding of safety and site protocols on occupied residential construction sites and the ability to work effectively and professionally in a team or solo environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and crouch for extended periods.
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
