About the role
Renovation Church is coming to East Bethel in early 2027!
In support of this new location, we are looking to hire a gifted Worship Leader who is passionate about the ministry of worship through music. More pointedly, we are seeking someone who is not only a strong lead vocalist, but also someone who has a musical background robust enough to be able to invest in and build up the skills of the entire worship team.
This position is a regular, part-time role (20-hours per week). The compensation for this role will be $25.
What you'll get to do
With support of the East Bethel Location Pastor and the Creative Director, who will help ensure the overall health, continued improvement, and enrichment of the ministry, you will:
Prepare and Lead Worship
- Lead worship on Sunday mornings, ensuring the space and materials are adequately prepared for the worship experience
- Choose weekly setlists, partner with production on any necessary setup, and lead worship team rehearsals
Lead the Worship Department
- Contribute to the music selection process with Renovation Church's overall vision of worship
- Plan and execute worship nights throughout the year
- Help ensure development of ministry leadership
- Assist on creative project for church events
Worship Department Administration
- Recruit, train, and manage all volunteers and worship team members
- Maintain stage and backstage ensuring all needs are met to provide excellent worship
- Develop and implement resourcing initiatives to further empower our volunteers

- Has a strong ability to organize and follow through with ongoing tasks
- Has passion and knowledge in regards to music and leading worship
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading worship through singing
- Preferred experience: Proficient to lead worship from one or multiple instruments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to navigate church or facility buildings, often including steps
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
