Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, the ideal candidate will be professional, courteous, and efficient, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is essential for creating a welcoming and organized environment for both patients, office and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our scheduling system.
- Verify patient information and insurance details accurately.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
- Assist with patient inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist in managing office supplies and other clerical duties as needed.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office management is a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, medical office assistant, or similar role preferred.

- Proficiency with office equipment and scheduling software (experience with medical software is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing procedures is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not mandatory.
