Position Overview: The Business Development Associate supports the growth of our environmental construction services by identifying project opportunities, cultivating client and partner relationships, and assisting with capture planning. This role is ideal for a motivated individual interested in environmental remediation, ecological restoration, and infrastructure work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and track public and private sector opportunities in environmental construction, including remediation, restoration, and heavy civil work
- Conduct market research and monitor procurement sites (e.g., SAM.gov, state portals)
- Assist in preparing qualification packages, teaming agreements, and proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs)
- Maintain and update CRM systems with leads, contacts, and pipeline activity
- Coordinate outreach to engineers, consultants, and developers for teaming opportunities
- Support the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Compile competitor and market intelligence to inform pursuit strategies
- Prepare internal reports on business development activity and performance metrics
Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, plus commission, based on experience.

Qualifications:
•1-5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (i.e. Environmental/ Civil Engineering, Life/Physical Sciences, or Construction Management)
•Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
