Job Description:
The Residential Sales Manager reports directly to the Sales Director and is responsible for assisting in the management of the Sales Team. The position will serve as a liaison between the Energy Consultants and other departments of Renova Energy when there are upset customers to make sure that problems are remedied ASAP. The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that payments from customers are collected in a timely manner and communicating with the various departments about the status of each payment or any issues holding up payment. The Sales Manager is responsible for attending interviews with potential consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Team Development
Provide leadership, motivation, and development opportunities for energy consultants, focusing on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry expertise.
Reporting & Metrics
Create and deliver detailed performance reports (e.g., leads, conversions, sales closed, surveys completed) to management and the sales team. Use data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies.
Training & Onboarding
Assist as needed and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with other departments (operations, finance, and customer service) to ensure a seamless customer experience, payments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve sales-related challenges.
Co-Sits & Field Support
Be available to consultants, including field support via ride-alongs and co-sits to provide real-time feedback and coaching.
Process Optimization
Streamline sales processes and procedures to increase productivity and ensure efficient operations. Collaborate with senior consultants to refine onboarding and training practices when responsibilities transition back.
Help simplify the (DR including virtual gift basket) and run reports to ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
Customer Experience & Feedback
Engage with prospective and existing clients to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience. Provide actionable insights to the sales team to enhance their approach.

Assist consultants at community outreach events, networking opportunities, and booths, ensuring proper setup, lead generation, and dismantling.
