Kennel Technician
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities
Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, including lifting animals and supplies
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
- Experience working with animals preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation to and from work
