Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and tenant relations of our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenants are supported, and ownership goals are consistently achieved. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of commercial leases, property operations, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties (office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use).
- Oversee tenant relations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through responsive communication and service.
- Interpret, and enforce lease agreements in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets; monitor financial performance, control expenses, and prepare monthly/quarterly reports for ownership.
- Oversee rent collection, billing, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements, safety standards, and brand expectations.
- Collaborate with leasing teams and brokers to support tenant retention and attract new tenants.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay current with market trends, property laws, and regulatory requirements that impact commercial real estate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial property management or related real estate management role.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPM, RPA, or other real estate/property management certifications (a plus).
