Role Description The Clinical Director is a contracted, on-site role based in Reno, NV, responsible for overseeing clinical assessments and treatment recommendations for RMC’s specialty court clientele. The Clinical Director develops and implements treatment plans in coordination with RMC Specialty Court Case Management, monitors outcomes, and continuously ensures treatment service quality for program participants. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners, maintains accurate and confidential records, and provides guidance and training to staff on best practices in clinical care. The Clinical Director also participates in strategic planning, program evaluation, and reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading clinical programs or services, with responsibility for supervision, coordination, and quality assurance.
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based practice in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., behavioral health, social work, counseling, psychology).
- Proven ability to provide coaching and feedback, and foster a collaborative, client-centered environment.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing clinical services and client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work on-site in Reno, NV, interact effectively with diverse populations, and maintain professionalism in a public-facing setting.
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field (such as social work, counseling, psychology, or a comparable discipline); relevant clinical licensure is required.
