Flex Teacher / Breaker

We’re seeking a flexible, reliable, and compassionate individual to fill the role of Flex Teacher. In this position, you'll step in to provide coverage for teachers during breaks, helping to guide classroom activities, maintain a safe environment, and ensure that children are nurtured emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Break Coverage: Step in to assist when teachers need a break, keeping children engaged, safe, and supported in their learning.
• Maintain a Safe, Clean, & Fun Environment: Ensure classrooms and play areas are well-maintained, safe, and stocked with the necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with a Supportive Team: Work alongside dedicated educators who share your commitment to nurturing children’s academic, emotional, and spiritual growth.
• Be a Role Model of Christian Values: Demonstrate kindness, patience, and compassion while encouraging children to develop values like respect, empathy, and love.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent). Experience working with children ages 3-8 is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified).
• Background Check: Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
• Nevada Early Childhood Education Registry: Must join within 90 days and complete 24 hours of training annually.
• Health Screening: Negative TB test required.
• Organized & Adaptable: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Team-Oriented: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Faith & Compassion: A deep, personal faith in Jesus Christ and a genuine love for serving children and families in a Christian environment.
