Role Description This part-time, on-site Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role is based in Richardson, TX. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services for pain management procedures, including administering general and regional anesthesia and monitoring patients before, during, and after interventions. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, developing and implementing anesthesia care plans, ensuring safe recovery, and collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members. The CRNA will also participate in patient education, document care in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards, and support a patient-centered, minimally invasive approach to pain management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in anesthesiology and general anesthesia, including assessment, planning, administration, and monitoring.
- Clinical expertise in nursing and medicine, with experience in perioperative or procedural care environments.
- Familiarity with surgery-related workflows and pain management procedures in outpatient or specialty clinic settings.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and active, unrestricted RN and APRN licenses in Texas.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills, with attention to detail and safety.
- Previous experience in pain management, ambulatory surgery centers, or interventional procedures is preferred.
