Job Description: The transmission mechanical engineering intern will be working on tasks in support of the staff mechanical design engineers. The goal will be to give them a solid introduction to the roles and responsibilites of a mechanical design engineer, and allow them to complete and report out on their own project during the course of their internship.

• Transmission engineering tasks in the support of the mechanical design engineers on the team
• Blueprint checking
• Test cell work
• Data collection
• Transmission failure analysis
• Minor design work

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited BSME program with a Jr. or Sr. status and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office applications.
