Duties
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozer, skid steel and excavators.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Assist with construction site activities including trenching, material handling, grading, and site leveling
- Coordinate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance needs
- Support horizontal drilling operations and other specialized tasks as required on the project site
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators and heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks and tanker trucks
- Construction site experience with familiarity in various operational roles including paving and horizontal drilling
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors

Pay: $25.12 - $30.25 per hour
