As our Controller in Stamford, CT, you will be at the heart of our financial operations—steering a talented team, ensuring precision in every transaction, and supporting strategic growth. What You’ll Do~
- Lead and inspire a dedicated finance team of 3, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all financial transactions, ensuring every check, payment, and deposit is handled with precision.
- Manage cash flow to keep the business agile and prepared for new opportunities.
- Strengthen vendor relationships with timely payments and discounts, while ensuring all receivables are promptly collected.
- Drive monthly financial reporting, including job costing, AR aging, and balance sheet reconciliations—delivering clear insights to guide company decisions.
- Support the President with strategic budgeting, asset management, and financial planning.
- Lead exciting projects such as transitioning systems from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI—modernizing our financial infrastructure.
- Play a key role in insurance renewals, audits, and ensuring compliance across all financial and asset management.
- A seasoned finance professional with a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, required.
- 8-10 years of solid experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems—Excel mastery is a must!
- A skilled communicator who can clearly articulate financial insights and build strong relationships.
- Passionate about leading teams, improving processes, and making strategic contributions that propel a company forward.
- $125,000-$150,000/annually with bonus opportunity.
