Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Technical Duties
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and procedural ultrasound imaging for physician-guided injections
- Support ultrasound-guided procedures, including PRP and Hyalgan injections
- Prepare ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality before procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and assist the physician during procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations during imaging and procedures
Medical Assistant Support
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms before and after patient visits
- Assist with patient intake, rooming, and positioning
- Monitor and support patients pre- and post-procedure as directed
Administrative & Documentation Duties
- Accurately log patient procedures and treatments
- Maintain and update patient medical records and files
- Assist with clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support general clinic workflow and coordination as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer (required)
- Prior experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ultrasound-guided injections (PRP, viscosupplementation) is a plus
- Experience in a medical assistant or clinical support role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document procedures accurately
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
