About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. The BHT provides direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs in a residential setting.
You’ll help clients develop daily living skills, encourage positive behaviors, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Assist in implementing behavior support and treatment plans
- Monitor, document, and report client progress or concerns
- Support clients in community and recreational activities
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all residents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or caregiving (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred for full time day position)
Compensation
Day Shift (Full-Time/Part-Time): $16.00 per hour
Night Shift (Full-Time/Part-Time): $15.00 per hour
PRN (As Needed): $16.00 per hour
