HOLIDAY LIGHTING INSTALLERS

Adventurers, Rock Climbers, Travelers — This Is Your Dream Seasonal Gig! Some year round work may be available.

We love working with awesome, high-quality lighting installers — rock climbers, tree workers, cavers, thru-hikers, night owls, and nomads welcome. If you’ve got a van, bus, tiny home, or trailer, we’ll even help set you up with a local campground. Our owner used to travel across the United States, chasing storms and cutting trees off power lines — so we get it. And if you’re local, that’s awesome too!

Every fall, we bring in an elite crew from all over the U.S. to help us light up homes and businesses with stunning holiday displays. You work hard, make great money, and still have time in the off-season to go live your life. Many of our crew return year after year — because they love the experience, the team, and the pay. Don’t think holiday lighting is a big job, think again. We do 100’s of homes every year. We are serious about safety, not working with sucky people, and working A LOT, in a little bit of time, so that we can enjoy our down time.

Make Up to $1,500 / Paid Weekly

  • Hourly Pay: $20–$22/hour (based on experience, skill, and performance)
  • Overtime Pay:
  • $1,000 Return Bonus for coming back next year for the entire season
  • Referral Bonus: Earn $500 for every person you refer who completes the season
  • Tips, bonuses, commissions all possible — and we actually pay them

The Schedule

  • Season runs September 29th – mid-December
  • January takedown work also available
  • Must be fully available any day of the week — Monday through Saturday is typical, but some weeks may include Sundays. Usually 4–6 days/week, 40–70 hours
  • You’ll usually get a rain day off each week — but this is not a cushy, slow-paced job
  • Think of this as a short sprint with big rewards: work hard for 2–3 months, then go live your life

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing professional-grade lighting on roofs, peaks, ridgelines, and trees
  • Making holiday magic for our clients — and serious money for yourself
  • Working in small, tight crews where safety, speed, and communication matter
  • Climbing roofs, installing lights, and crushing it — not for the faint of heart

Must-Haves

  • Already comfortable with heights and roofs — this is NOT the job to learn that skill
  • Reliable and on-time — we can’t afford ghosting or no-shows
  • Team player with a great attitude
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean (or explainable) background and driving record
  • Bonus if you're from a climbing or trade background

Primary Position Available:

  • Roof Installer – $20–$22/hr If you're interested in sales, warehouse support, or another role — reach out! We may have options.

Our Crew

Our team is made up of rock climbers, cavers, night owls, adventurers, and free spirits who enjoy the outdoors, love getting things done, and don’t mind a little goofiness along the way. We’re safe, smart, and we hustle — and we love working with people who are the same.

Sound like your kind of gig? Apply now and answer all questions. We read every app. If you’re a good fit, we’ll be in touch quickly.

Let’s make this your most profitable season yet.
