JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Join the growing private practice at Renew ENT! This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with Renew's MD's/APP's to assess and deliver patient care plans. In the role you will develop, implement, monitor and document the utilization of resources and progress of the patient through their care, facilitating options and services to meet the patient’s health care needs.
In addition, a primary component of this role is to support Renew's immunotherapy program (Renew will cover the travel, training, and certification expenses that are required to support the administration of the program. Out-of-state travel is required and may last 5 consecutive days. Travel must take place during Q1 of 2026).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Care Coordination
Triage patient incoming calls regarding clinical concerns
Medication refill requests, results review of imaging and laboratory testing
- Performing laboratory procedures using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions/infection control guidelines.
- Assisting the physician/advance practice provider (APP) with procedures and surgeries such as sinus surgeries and minor plastics surgeries, etc.
- Administering routine medications, under physician/APP orders, which may include but are not limited to steroids, antibiotics, and topical agents.
- Providing basic patient instructions on the performance of routine tasks or skills. Following through with necessary procedure or test requests, pre-approved care algorithms, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to physicians/providers per scope of practice guidelines and relays information back to patient as directed.
- Communicating with physicians and other members of the health care team to ensure smooth clinic flow and adjusts as necessary. Effectively communicating accurate and timely information with the patient.
- May perform basic and advanced clinical support tasks or skills based on the specialty and appropriate advanced skills and competencies such as but not limited to removal of sutures , laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture), phlebotomy , etc., under clinical supervision.
Masterminds ways to improve the quality of patient care provided by the facility
REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Current MN LPN license in good standing
Associates Degree Preferred
2 years experience as an LPN or CMA Preferred
Current BLS certification
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ENT and/or facial plastics experience or prior care coordination experience preferred
