Floating Dispensary Assistant Manager Locations: BerkleyWhitman, MA

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on cannabis retail leader to join our team as a Floating Dispensary Assistant Manager. This role supports the day-to-day retail operations across both of our Massachusetts locations and is best suited for someone who is highly self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain strong standards and accountability in a retail environment while leading by example and prioritizing compliance and customer experience.

This position requires living within reasonable commuting distance to both Berkley and Whitman Massachusetts, and being willing to work regularly at either store based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Support oversight of retail operations across both locations
• Lead, train, and support dispensary staff to deliver excellent service
• Manage opening/closing procedures, cash drawers, and deposits
• Conduct routine inventory audits (cannabis and non-cannabis)
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, and discipline as needed
• Ensure strict compliance with state regulations and company SOPs
• Maintain strong product knowledge and help educate staff and customers
• Drive sales performance and uphold brand standards
• Support vendor relationships, purchasing, receiving, and merchandising
• Communicate key metrics, issues, and customer feedback to leadership
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment
• Update menus, signage, and stay current on industry trends
• Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly

Schedule Expectations

• Full-time hours
• Flexible schedule based on store and leadership needs
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Floating between Berkley and Whitman locations as needed

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of retail management experience (preferably in cannabis)
• Strong knowledge of POS platforms and seed-to-sale systems
• Comfortable with inventory control, cash handling, and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lead with professionalism, humility, positivity, and accountability
• Must be 21 years of age
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Employee must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
