We’re seeking a Director of Marketing to lead strategic growth across three key fronts:
- E-commerce acceleration (Amazon, DTC, and digital performance marketing for our Sweat-X Sport brand)
- Sports marketing integration (leveraging professional and collegiate partnerships)
- Expansion of the commercial laundry segment (beyond sports, into hospitality, industrial, and institutional markets)
This role blends digital growth expertise, brand storytelling, and B2B marketing acumen. The ideal candidate, who will report directly to our CEO, is a data-driven, creative strategist who can drive measurable revenue growth while strengthening Renegade Brands’ reputation as the go-to performance detergent for pros, consumers, and commercial operators alike.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Amazon Growth
- Work with the Amazon and DTC team to develop and implement strategies to drive rapid growth in online sales and brand visibility.
- Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to inform marketing strategy and positioning. Identify product and consumer trends and adjust tactics to keep products competitive in the laundry space.
- Assist with the optimization of product listings, A content, storefronts, and advertising (PPC, DSP) for conversion and brand consistency.
- Develop and execute paid media, influencer, and retargeting campaigns to drive acquisition and retention.
- Utilize analytics and reporting to continually refine customer acquisition, LTV, and ROI performance.
- Oversee CRM, loyalty, and subscription programs to strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Sports & Consumer Brand Integration
- Leverage Renegade Brands’ professional and collegiate sports customers/partnerships to fuel consumer credibility (“trusted by the pros”) in the Sweat-X brand.
- Create co-branded and ambassador campaigns with athletes, trainers, and equipment managers that reinforce the performance-clean message.
- Translate locker-room trust into consumer storytelling — connecting elite-level results with household applications.
- Manage brand partnerships, sponsorship activations, and sports event marketing to expand awareness and earned media.
Commercial Laundry Marketing (B2B)
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the commercial laundry segment, targeting facilities in corrections, senior living, hospitality, laundromats, distributors, healthcare, and collegiate/professional sports.
- Create tailored B2B campaigns and collateral (case studies, product sheets, technical data, digital assets) that highlight performance, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Support Sales in lead generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and channel enablement.
- Build brand awareness in commercial and institutional markets through trade shows, industry partnerships, and digital channels.
Brand, Team & Strategic Leadership
- Expand the Renegade Brands/Sweat-X brand identity across all channels — ensuring consistency between consumer, commercial, and sports messaging.
- Lead and mentor a growing marketing team covering e-commerce, content, and partnerships.
- Manage the overall marketing budget, setting clear KPIs and allocating spend for maximum impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, and Operations to ensure unified market execution.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership of e-commerce and/or CPG brands.
- Proven success scaling Amazon and DTC sales channels with measurable ROI.
- Experience in sports marketing, consumer packaged goods, or performance/lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B and commercial laundry marketing in institutional or industrial settings.
- Track record of translating professional or enterprise relationships into consumer growth.
