What Youll Do:
The Clinical Implementation & Education Nurse Post-Acute serves a dual role focused on both the clinical education and operational implementation of Rendevors Post-Acute (Skilled Nursing Facility) dialysis programs. This position ensures that new facilities, nurses, and patient care technicians (PCTs) are trained, equipped, and compliant with Rendevor standards, CMS Conditions for Coverage, and applicable state regulations. This nurse will lead training, site readiness, and clinical onboarding activities to support the safe and efficient launch of new post-acute dialysis programs and sustain ongoing education initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
- Registered Nurse (RN) ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
- Current, active RN license in good standing; multi-state or compact license required.
- If not currently licensed in Illinois, the candidate must obtain Illinois RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
- Rendevor will provide a one-time reimbursement of up to $300 toward the cost of obtaining the Illinois RN license and any required state-specific endorsements or application fees.
- Failure to obtain the Illinois RN license within the specified timeframe may affect continued employment eligibility in the Post-Acute division.
- CPR AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and maintain schedule flexibility to support multi-state facility launches, training, and education.
- In rare or contingency situations, the nurse may be required to provide direct patient care or cover the floor to ensure continuity of operations during staffing shortages or implementation phases.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of dialysis experience (in-center, acute, or post-acute).
- Prior experience in education, preceptorship, or clinical leadership preferred.
- Experience with new facility start-ups or clinical implementations strongly desired.
Skills & Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of dialysis treatment processes, infection prevention, and water treatment operations.
- Strong teaching, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organization and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, EQRS, and related clinical platforms.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic, multi-state environment.

- On-time completion of training and competency validation for all assigned staff.
- Successful execution of implementation milestones and site readiness tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver onboarding and continuing education programs for Post-Acute RNs and PCTs.
- Facilitate new-hire orientation, skill validations, and annual competencies.
- Create and maintain training tools and procedure checklists aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct on-site and virtual education on water systems, infection control, ultrafiltration parameters, and emergency response.
- Serve as clinical lead during new facility activations and post-go-live support.
- Participate in pre-implementation planning, readiness calls, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Biomedical, and IT.
- Conduct site readiness assessments, mock treatments, and survey preparation.
- Train and validate staff competencies prior to go-live; document training completion and readiness reports.
- Collaborate with Quality, Compliance, and HR to integrate audit feedback into education plans.
- Provide on-site support during initial patient treatments and stabilization phase.
- Promote Rendevors culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support workflow standardization, documentation accuracy, and adherence to CMS Conditions for Coverage and state dialysis regulations.
Supervision:
- Reports to the National Director of Post-Acute Operations
Work Environment:
This position operates in both remote and clinical dialysis environments. Frequent travel (approx. 50%) to Post-Acute facilities is required to support training, implementation, and clinical education.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and may frequently stand, bend, walk, twist, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This position is considered exempt from overtime pay and may require extended hours at times.
