POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate, Regulatory and Compliance Paralegal to support the VP – Legal, Regulatory and Compliance and other members of the senior leadership team. This individual will play a key role in F&I form drafting and revision efforts, ensuring regulatory and lender-specific requirements are met, and working cross-functionally to resolve compliance issues and maintain operational integrity. This role is also responsible for monitoring changes in applicable state law and regulations, conducting legal research, corresponding with complainants, regulators, and external stakeholders, and providing administrative and operational support to the senior leadership team as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage and prioritize project workflows for form creation, revision, and compliance filings.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and operations teams to investigate and resolve funding discrepancies and form-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to compliance processes, filing procedures, and contract standards.
- Submit filings to applicable regulatory agencies and lenders as it relates to licensing, registrations and form approval.
- Draft, review and prepare responses to complainants, regulators and external stakeholders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist the VP – Legal, Regulatory and Compliance in handling general corporate matters and management of litigation, complaint, claim escalation and dispute resolution files.
- Analyze and monitor applicable pending legislation and regulations.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research as needed.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the VP – Legal, Regulatory and Compliance and other members of the senior leadership team.
- Represent the organization at industry and trade group meetings.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the Legal and Compliance teams.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 4 years of experience in a legal and/or compliance role within the auto or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing automotive F&I products and TPA licensing requirements.
- Highly organized and able to manage complex workflows and multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional documents and correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional and InDesign.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in compliance tools and systems.
- Experience with contract development and automobile lender business requirements and filing processes (e.g., F&I Sentinel).
- Familiarity with state regulatory agencies, TPA licensing requirements and F&I product filing processes.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a compliance-focused role.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
