Senior Estimator
Renascent Inc. is a demolition and construction services company seeking a Senior Demolition Estimator for our Indianapolis, IN office. We are an industry-leading demolition contractor, known for handling complex projects. This is a high-impact, strategic role with strong growth potential.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Build and manage key relationships while evaluating large-scale bid opportunities, including complex negotiated and hard-bid projects. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, relate well to various personalities, and be approachable.
- Lead estimating efforts for multi-million-dollar demolition projects by conducting detailed takeoffs, developing pricing, contingency modeling, and performing risk analysis. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents is essential.
- Develop comprehensive bid strategies considering schedule constraints, safety, environmental regulations, logistics, and self-perform capabilities.
- Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and historical data to identify scope gaps, assumptions, and risks. Generate RFIs to clarify project requirements.
- Coordinate with our preconstruction team to identify necessary subcontractors and vendors, develop scope of work documents, and review and level their pricing and quotations.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and project locations, capturing accurate existing conditions.
· Prepare detailed estimates, value-engineering alternatives, and proposal narratives tailored to sophisticated owners, general contractors, and procurement teams. Candidates must learn to use company-specific software such as HCSS Heavy Bid, Primavera, Bluebeam Revu, Revit, and other BIM tools.
- Coordinate and lead internal bid reviews with operations, safety, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and competitiveness.
· Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership to support seamless transitions from estimating to project execution on large, technically complex projects.

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:
- 4-7 years of previous related experience required.
- Must have strong organizational skills to handle the variety of tasks assigned.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with employees, external vendors, owners, and general contractors.
- Must be competent to perform complete and accurate project take-offs and estimates.
· Ability to work under minimal supervision.
