Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Banker, based in Huntsville, AL, with some flexibility for remote work. The Mortgage Banker will be responsible for originating and managing residential mortgage loans, cultivating relationships with clients, guiding borrowers through the home loan process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and underwriting requirements. Additional tasks include evaluating loan applications, advising clients on financing options, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful loan closings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mortgage Lending, Residential Mortgages, and Mortgages
- Experience in Loans and general financial principles
- Strong understanding of loan underwriting and compliance standards
- Exceptional communication and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of the Huntsville, AL housing market is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Active NMLS registration and relevant certifications, or ability to secure them
