This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with retailers and distributors. The DSD Sales Assistant will play a key part in product delivery, store resets, promotional tracking, and administrative support, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.ResponsibilitiesUpdate order sheets for specific product pieces and item numbers as neededComplete price tag request forms for store resetsConduct follow-up calls to retailers to confirm resolution of issues identified during quarterly visitsEnter promotions into online portals and communicate via email with retailers and distributorsReview and approve or disapprove promotions for bookkeeping, ensuring deductions from payments are authorized by the sales teamTrack promotion spending in spreadsheets by retailer and distributorAssist with delivery and placement of new products at store locationsRemove products from store shelves as needed, document quantities, and coordinate with the Inside Sales Coordinator for product returnsSupport the DSD Sales Representative during store resets and new product placementsPerform additional administrative sales assistant duties as requestedQualificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keepingEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentProficiency with spreadsheets and online portals is a plusWillingness to assist with in-store product placement and removal as needed
