Office Manager and back office Medical Assistant for a busy two physician Nephrology practice in Kailua, Hawaii. Office Manager job duties include supervising one to two other employees, submitting payroll reports to the Human Resources company, ordering office supplies, overseeing office equipment maintenance, maintaining office appearance, and organizing clinic schedules, among other duties. Clinical administrative duties include answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, arranging infusions and injections, ordering labs and medications, as well as submitting prior authorizations, FMLA forms and other forms and letters. Another vital duty in the office is to return patient calls/messages and answer patient portal requests. Clinical duties include taking vital signs, medication list reconciliation, and rooming patients in the clinic. Previous medical office management and clinical experience preferred.
