As a Software Engineer II, you'll work in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with a group of highly talented software engineers on our web applications. In this role, you will: Be working with technologies such as Golang, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, PHP, and Terraform Maintain and add features to modern and legacy applications Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and minimize issues Troubleshoot distributed systems in AWS Cloud and Google Cloud Platform Be part of an agile distributed team that is truly committed to code quality and innovation Both collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently Participate and grow in a continuous learning environment Adhere to coding standards and development best practices For this role, you must have: 2-5 years professional experience in backend development with a focus on building web-based applications Proficiency in Golang, with ability to easily learn other languages Experience with SQL and constructing relational SQL databases Experience developing REST APIs Working knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and HTML Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns Bonus points for: Experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using microservices Experience working with event-driven architectures Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular) Experience working in Lean/Agile/Scrum environment Experience with messaging systems Proficiency with PHP Knowledge of DevOps processes and technologies around version control, test automation frameworks, continuous integration/deployment, and production monitoring & support Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
