What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart Attendant position at Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa?
As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Beverage Cart Attendant is to provide exceptional customer service by serving food and beverages to guests while they are on the golf course by adhering to all requirements and restrictions set forth by the ABC board. This role is responsible for loading and unloading the beverage carts, patrolling assigned areas of the golf course and offering food and beverage options, maintaining pars on the beverage carts, and reporting any unusual or unsafe conditions. A crucial part of this role is to enhance the guest experience on the golf course by providing prompt and friendly service, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding safety standards.
- Adhere to all requirements and restrictions established by the ABC board to ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on the golf course, offering food and beverage sales to guests while they play. Additionally, assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds by collecting litter and promptly reporting any unusual or unsafe conditions.
- Follow all guest check and cash handling procedures meticulously to ensure accurate and secure transactions.
- Keep beverage carts stocked with appropriate inventory levels, maintaining pars to meet guest demands. At the beginning and end of each shift, load and unload beverage carts, accounting for unsold products and providing a detailed sales report that includes revenue and beginning balance.
- Ensure the beverage cart is clean and well-maintained at all times. Drive the cart safely and courteously, prioritizing the safety of guests and staff.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable information about the facilities and golf course to guests. Maintain open communication with the Pro Shop to promptly address guest requests or answer any questions.
- Report any instances of intoxicated persons to management staff for appropriate action.
- Stay informed about golf course conditions, cart rules, and rotations to assist guests effectively.
- Keep the storeroom organized and tidy, ensuring supplies are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Prepare and serve all beverages in accordance with the beverage standards set by the establishment.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance the guest experience.
- Report gratuities received following company guidelines and in compliance with federal law.
- Foster a positive work climate and contribute to the overall team effort of the company, actively supporting colleagues and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
