Renaissance Ranch has an opening for a SUD Counselor at our Rupert, Idaho Facility.
Job Summary: Provides therapy for various substance-use disorder clients while adhering to Renaissance Ranch vision and Mission Statement.
Position Type:
1 candidate Monday- Friday. Day Shift. 9-5pm. 40 hours a week
1 candidate Monday-Friday. Evening Shift. 1-9pm. 40 hours a week. Pay deferential for evening shift.
Salary: Guaranteed Salary Extras (not billable hours)
Essential Functions: Completes group and individual sessions that address the individual needs of the client, including relapse prevention.
- Lectures on substance use & other psycho educational topics
- Completes weekly individual therapy
- Maintains knowledge of and adheres to Company policies and procedures
- Participates as an effective, contributing member of the interdisciplinary team
- Communicates well and has a positive up-beat attitude
- Competent and knowledgeable in ethical standards and confidentiality matters
- Works effectively with a treatment team format and knows how to work with supervision
Requirements: CADC, ACADC, SUDA, Alcohol & Drug Certification/License or other state equivalent
Must pass pre-hire requirements including a criminal background check and drug screening.
