About the Opportunity
The Renaissance Marine Group (RMG) Welding Training Program is a 4-week paid training opportunity designed to teach you the fundamentals of welding and prepare applicants for full-time careers as welders and fabricators. Participants will progress through classroom instruction, shop practice, and hands-on fabrication, leading to the potential for full-time employment with RMG. Continued participation and successful completion in the program requires meeting all learning objectives on schedule. Failure to meet requirements at any checkpoint will result in removal from the program.
Position Details:
- Position: Welding Trainee
- Location: 908 Port Drive, Clarkston, WA 99403
- Schedule: Mon. - Thur. 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Training starts Monday, February 2, 2026 through Thursday, February 26, 2026
Pay Scale/Equipment: $18.50/hour during training program.
This is a temporary position with a potential opportunity for full-time employment upon successful completion of training.
Candidates must have good boots/work attire for the program. RMG will supply all other needed supplies during the program, including a welding helmet if participant does not already have one.
