Renaissance Equity is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill a full time Maintenance Technician position at one of our garden style apartment complexes. As a Maintenance Technician, you are the bridge between our residents and our Management Office. You are the First Responder to maintenance problems and emergencies! Reliability, trustworthiness and good communication are vital. Must be comfortable with technology too.
The Maintenance Technician will assist the Superintendent and other Property Staff with repairs in occupied apartments and will work to renovate vacant apartments, This role will also assist with repair, upkeep and cleaning of the common areas and property grounds. Maintenance Techs will also help with snow removal and ice prevention during the winter months. Experience:
Must have maintenance & repair or applicable construction experience. Must be skilled at basic plumbing, carpentry, plaster/spackle, painting, tile work and general electrical (outlets, switches and fixtures). Seeking self-motivated, hard working, trustworthy individual with excellent communication skills. Must be a team player who works well with others.
Qualifications:
Experience in Building Construction & Maintenance. Apartment Maintenance experience preferred.
Fast-paced work environment requiring excellent work ethic and strong self-motivation.
Must be well organized with great verbal and written communication skills.
Must have valid driver’s license.
