Renaissance Behavioral Health (RBH), a leading community mental health provider in northeast Ohio, is excited to announce part-time and full-time openings at our Midtown Cleveland office for an experienced Medical Office Administrator Assistant. This role is crucial for interacting with clients and guests in a healthcare setting, as well as managing administrative tasks for the clinical team.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the front office support for clients and clinicians, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage client check-in/out processes, including explaining intake forms, collecting payments, and verifying insurance coverage.
  • Provide initial assessment paperwork to patients, ensure completeness, and input electronic forms into the EHR system.
  • Answer incoming calls, address client inquiries, handle payment-related questions, and process release requests.
  • Maintain accuracy of client accounts, including billing details, contact information, and payment collection.
  • Assist patients with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, ensuring accuracy in appointment details.
  • Audit daily scheduler for appointment accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Maintain general office cleanliness and organization, including sorting mail and scanning documents.
  • Provide backup support to the Office Lead for pre-appointment processes.
  • Perform additional office duties as assigned by the Administrative Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills; team player with professional etiquette.
  • Fundamental knowledge of medical office practices, procedures, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Proficient in phone and computer operations, including basic IT systems and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience with HIPAA regulations preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting required.
  • Strong patient service skills and phone etiquette.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
