What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Test Technician position at RemX?
We are seeking a Quality Test Technician for the manufacturing industry - 11 month contract role.Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pmThe Quality Test Tech performs special inspection studies (repeatability and accuracy), special complex and/or investigative inspections, and inspection of complex tooling.Provides inspections in support of engineering. Performs statistical analysis of inspection generated data and runs reports from the database to determine in-process DPPM for each work cell and supports all validation testing. Prepares gage instructions and trains inspectors in gage use. Assists in first article inspection. The quality tech also plans for internal audits, tracks internal and external corrective actions and visits suppliers to resolve inspection issues when required. Trains new hires and ensures that QC inspectors are well aware of inspection plans and methods. The quality tech ensures that Gage R&Rs are performed for all critical dimensions/characteristics for component and/or assemblies. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Proficiency in using a variety of precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.Knowledge of quality control procedures, methodologies, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).Familiarity with quality control software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and testing software.Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with teams.As a RemX Quality Test Technician We Offer You:Competitive payPaid weekly (Direct Deposit or ATM Debit Card available)Access to health benefits and retirement planA personal recruiter to help with job searches and assistance when at work!Contract Opportunity
