Purchasing Buyer
Location: Pooler, GA | On-site
Pay: $37–$38/hour DOE (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm | Fri 8am–2:30pm
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our team and support purchasing operations for both new and existing products. This role is key to ensuring we have the right materials at the right time and price—working closely with suppliers, engineering, and internal teams to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
️ What You’ll Be Doing:
- Source and order materials needed for production
- Review supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts or purchase orders
- Select vendors for components like rubber, glass, and plastic parts
- Track deliveries to ensure timeliness and quality
- Support new product launches and coordinate with engineering
- Troubleshoot supply issues that could impact production
- Occasionally assist with capital purchases (e.g., machinery or equipment)
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- 2–3 years of purchasing or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand basic production workflows
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in the heavy-equipment manufacturer industry is a plus
