Inventory Control Specialist – Temp (3 Months)Location: Norfolk, MAPay: $20–$22/hourSchedule:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMThursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to lead and support inventory processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities:Lead physical inventory and weekly cycle counts of warehouse componentsResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies with warehouse and supply chain teamsMaintain oversight of the cycle counting team and provide guidance as neededProcess and post physical inventory transactions in ERP systemsTroubleshoot shipping and receiving issues, including onsite confirmation counts for reported errorsMonitor product segregated for QC/repair and provide weekly updatesMaintain inventory accuracy metrics and ensure compliance with internal processesAct as a key user for inventory control systemsPerform additional duties as assigned, working independently and managing multiple prioritiesRequirements:Familiarity with inventory management procedures and documentationExperience with ERP and WMS systemsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and advanced formulasStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelyAbility to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Competencies:Problem SolvingProcess ManagementCompany DescriptionThis role allows you to take full ownership of the accounting operations for multiple growing businesses while helping influence financial strategy and systems.
