Administrative Parts & Service Coordinator
Location: Iron Station, NC (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20-$24/hour DOE
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Parts & Service Coordinator to support day-to-day service operations. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, technicians, and the parts department to ensure service work is properly scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update, and maintain daily service schedules and appointments.
- Coordinate with technicians and the Parts Department to obtain required information, order necessary parts, and track order status.
- Assist with scheduling service work and ensure all service orders are complete and accurate prior to billing.
- Process Planned Maintenance and Startup orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Support inventory cycle counts and inventory management activities as needed.
- Assist with order entry, packing, shipping, and other administrative duties.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of administrative experience; service, parts, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Experience with Acumatica ERP is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities.
