The HR Coordinator supports key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding and training, legal compliance, employee engagement, and employee relations. This role promotes a positive work environment that aligns with company values, by working with leadership to enhance retention, quality and productivity. This role also implements effective HR processes and manages the full recruitment cycle process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Post job advertisements, screen candidates, conduct phone screenings, check references, run background checks and guide candidates through the interview and hiring process.
  • Coordinate interviews, meeting locations, travel arrangements, and other logistics for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct onboarding for new hires to educate employees on HR policies and procedures and facilitate new hire integration.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees by answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Assist with benefit plan administration including annual open enrollment and new hire enrollment.
  • Support HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal/state laws, and handling employee inquiries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a work environment aligned with company culture and values.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation, reports, and records.
  • Process transactions such as salary changes, promotions and transfers in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain employee personnel files in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the performance review process. 
  • Maintain and update training materials & provides training reports as required 
  • Assist with the update and communication of Employee handbook & policies 
  • Assist in coordinating company meetings and special events 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in human resources.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to work with discretion and handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary.
  • Experience with ADP WFN preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
