What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Product Manager position at Remo Hub?
Role & responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Define the product roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and user feedback to guide product direction.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation design development launch iteration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products.
3. Requirements & Documentation
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features using frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, or Kano.
4. Project & Release Management
- Coordinate development sprints and releases using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and mitigate blockers.
5. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Present product updates, metrics, and KPIs to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Manage expectations and align stakeholders on product decisions.
6. Data & Metrics Analysis
- Define KPIs and measure product success using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau).
- Make data-driven recommendations for product improvements.
7. Customer & Market Focus
- Collect customer feedback and conduct usability testing.
- Ensure the product solves real user problems and adds measurable business value.
Preferred candidate profile:
1. Experience:
- 4 to 8 years in product management, preferably in IT, SaaS, or technology-driven companies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and product lifecycle management.
2. Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or Business.
- Optional but preferred: MBA, CSPO, PSPO, AIPMM CPM certifications.
3. Skills:
- Strong technical understanding (APIs, cloud platforms, databases).
- Expertise in roadmapping, prioritization, and analytics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Soft Skills & Traits:
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated and adaptable for remote collaboration across time zones.
- Customer-focused with a keen sense for product-market fit.
5. Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with UX/UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, ISO, SOC 2).
