About Us
Remnant Christian Schools (RCS) is a small but growing private Christian school entering our fourth year of operation. We are passionate about fostering a joyful, engaging learning environment where students are known, loved, and challenged to grow in both character and knowledge.
Our class sizes are intentionally small - around 12 students on average - to ensure each child receives personalized attention.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and faith-driven teacher who:
- Loves teaching Bible, History and English Language Arts and can share that passion with their class
- Is able to teach these courses at the middle school and high school levels
- Is passionate about seeing students grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually
- Thrives in an active and engaging environment
- Lives out a strong Christian faith, serving as an example of Christ-like character to students and families
- Partners closely with parents to shape students into fruitful adults who are prepared to glorify Christ in all they do
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Experience teaching Bible, History and ELA to secondary school-aged students
- Strong biblical knowledge and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Ability to create a positive, disciplined, and joyful classroom culture
- Commitment to working as a team member within a growing school
Responsibilities
- Finalize and adapt curriculum plans creatively to meet the needs of all students
- Maintain constant communication with parents regarding each child's growth, challenges, and achievements
- Track and document student progress to ensure consistent academic, spiritual, and personal development
- Participate in training sessions to prepare for the upcoming school year
- Attend school events such as open houses, parent meetings, and special programs to build strong community relationships
