About the Role:
Remitly is hiring a Head of US-LATAM to lead growth in our USA-LAC markets (customers sending to Latin America from the USA). This is a strategy, analytics, and operations role involving planning, building, and executing initiatives across product, pricing, marketing, analytics, customer service, engineering, and other departments. This role does require native level proficiency in Spanish. You will report to our USA General Manager (GM).
If near our Seattle or Washington DC office, you will be expected to work 2-3 days a week in office. We are open to remote, USA based candidates as well.

You Will:
- Be accountable for driving sustainable growth in our USA to Latin American markets (specific corridors/markets to be defined), measured against key performance indicators like new customers, monthly active customers, transactions, volume, revenue, and profitability
- Drive customer learnings and hypotheses generation to iterate faster towards the right customer and business outcomes
- Oversee the ongoing views about competition, market, and customer trends. You will translate regional strategies into specific market goals across multiple functions
- Partner closely with product, marketing, pricing, disbursement network, and other relevant teams to grow the region and improve the overall customer experience
- Drive executional excellence on initiatives and define the right strategic context/clear prioritisation for stakeholders
- Build business cases for key initiatives and influence prioritization of partner-teams' roadmaps through structured business impact / customer centric frameworks
- Develop long-term strategies and influence leadership decisions
- Own the product roadmap for LAC-specific features and experiences, working with engineering and design to define requirements, prioritise the backlog, and ship iteratively
- Partner with the central product team to ensure LAC customer needs are represented in platform-wide decisions (e.g. onboarding flows, pricing UX, disbursement options)
- Lead a dedicated product squad focussed on LAC-specific product initiatives, with accountability for delivery and outcomes
- Native level fluency in Spanish
- 8 years of professional experience, including experience leading product teams in a technology-driven company
- Experience building and scaling B2B or FinTech products, ideally in money movement or financial services
- Demonstrated problem solving skills (qualitative and quantitative). Can generate high quality hypotheses and dive into an ambiguous problem statement
- Strong understanding of LAC markets (likely some combination of Colombia, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras)
- Ability to balance compassionate partnership and the ability to be constructively direct. You will influence and network within the business and with external partners.
- Bias for action and Dive Deep - ability to be scrappy and “get things done” while able to going into the required level of detail
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree

Salary : $176,000 - $260,000
