The Service & Warranty Warehouse Associate supports the company’s service department by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing parts orders for shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in computer use and the ability to monitor refreshable shipping reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stage service/warranty parts according to work orders and shipping documents to be checked and signed off by the quality department.
- Pack and palletize materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and damage-free packaging using equipment such as spray foam machines, banding machines, and strapping pallets.
- Generate various types of labels and stickers using Microsoft Excel.
- Perform computer transactions to request shop supplies.
- Communicate effectively between logistics, customer service, and other production departments to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety guidelines.
- Provide support for other warehouse-related activities as business needs require.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or logistics training preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, inventory or ERP systems, shipping software).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist other departments as needed.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily performed in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
