Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, door hanging, siding, and roofing installations with attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation as needed.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, water damage restoration components, and other structural elements.
- Engage in remodeling projects including flooring installation, tile laying, electrical wiring tasks, plumbing connections, and drywall finishing.
- Assist with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise measurements and accurate assembly of components.
- Support restoration industry projects by performing mold remediation, water damage repairs, and structural repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and project planning.
- Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery for fabrication purposes.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate execution of tasks.
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing systems, siding installation, and stucco application.
- Familiarity with restoration processes including mold remediation and water damage restoration industry practices.
- Ability to perform fixture installation such as cabinets and doors with precision; experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical experience related to construction sites; plumbing skills are advantageous.
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely on construction sites.
