Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Specialist located in Mechanicsburg, PA.
· Ensure accurate tracking of all international ocean and air shipments from departure to arrival, providing timely updates on status and resolving any issues that arise during transit.
· Develop and execute efficient load plans to optimize space utilization and minimize costs for international shipments.
· Oversee customs entry pre-approvals to ensure smooth processing of invoicing and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate and book ocean freight routes, ensuring that shipments are arranged in line with production and delivery timelines.
· Review and process ocean and drayage invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper billing and timely payment.
· Oversee the receipt and documentation of direct shipments via ocean and air.
· Collaborate closely with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics firms to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international logistics and supply chain operations.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience/knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations and procedures.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Clear and persuasive communication and negotiation abilities
· Proficiency in relevant software (Microsoft 365 required; Acumatica considered an asset)
