What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Concierges - Lakeway Resort and Spa position at Remington Hotels?
What you will be doing
- Greet guests/residents at the Spa Front Desk and administer keys to locker areas, if applicable.
- Handle all administrative functions of the spa, including use of spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments and answering questions.
- Monitor spa appointments and ensure proper staffing to maintain sense of order and efficiency.
- Process transactions for all events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc.
- Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
- Participate in further learning activities up to and including product knowledge.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of hotel services, products and procedures.
- Provide Spa tours and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What we are looking for
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year experience in a spa or related field preferred.
- 1 year retail experience preferred.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
- Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
- Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
- Ability to work in a standard office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
- Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
- Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
- Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
- Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
